Kieron Hatton and Rich Chidlow started their carpentry firm Unique Build in 2006 with a clear idea in mind, to offer a mix of fantastic customer service and quality workmanship rarely found within the construction industry.
Over the past three years Unique Build has achieved success by consistently exceeding clients expectations in every aspect of their service. They operate under the simple philosophy that they will complete each project to a high standard, on time and at the price agreed.
Rich and Kieron have kept Unique Build relatively small giving them the ability to be personally involved with every job, keeping standards high and achieving great attention to detail.
Kieron 29, began his career in carpentry over 12 years ago and has extensive experience in both carpentry and joinery as well as commercial shopfitting. Rich, also 29, comes from a customer service background having been involved in Brighton’s hospitality industry, since then he has gained his City & Guilds carpentry qualification and early this year the pair gained their trading standards approval when Unique Build became members of the Buy With Confidence Scheme.

Unique Build can currently be found in Brighton’s Bartholomew Square at sushi restaurant Moshi Moshi where they are constructing a complex bespoke decked area complete with sunken japanese seating.
